6 ½” ev, rec, TET – This cool deep
lavender is a full sibling to last seasons releases:
SC Southern Belle & SC Miss Margaret.
Its flower form, as well as its color, is all
together different. Segments are much narrower and
flowers are more loosely shaped. This is not to say
that the blossoms are floppy. To the contrary,
flowers open very flat and hold their shape with
heavy substance and texture. Also, each flower is
accented by a wide, washed halo, which seems to pop
out at you. Plants are most attractive in a clump
with several scapes blooming, as each is likely to
have several flowers open. Scapes are a stocky 24”,
nicely branched, carrying up to 20 buds. Fertile
both ways.
