6 ” ev, rec, TET - As we have stated in the past,
tetraploid doubles are “tough, really tough”. However,
if you continue to put in the hard work, you will finally
make some progress. We are pleased to release this
offering, which we believe to be our latest step in the
positive direction. In general, tet doubles seem to be
lacking scape height, bud count, pod fertility, and flower
consistency. For our program, this cultivar shows solid
improvement in all of these areas. Also, judging from the
seedlings that we have bloomed thus far, even further
progress is evident in its kids. Better doubles are on the
way! Flowers are rich orange-peach with slight edging.
Strong 26” scapes are nicely branched, holding up to 22
buds. Vigorous, large fans are easily fertile both ways.
