6”, sev, rec, TET – Hybridizing is easy!
You just cross one cover flower with another
cover flower. Well,
at least this philosophy worked once.
Renie’s
Delight, our ’05 cover, crossed with Elisa Dallas, Dan
Trimmer’s ’05 cover, seemed to make a logical match.
The result being a flawless, ruffled cream with
red eye/edge, and a glowing green throat.
Flowers are round and flat with heavy substance,
opening perfectly with every bloom.
This lily is among the first to bloom for us, and
has about 4 to 5 sets of scapes during a
Florida
season. Plant
habit is also stellar, giving 30” well branched scapes
carrying up to 30 buds.
Extremely fertile, producing offspring with big,
intense green throats.
