6 1/2”, ev, rec, TET – This fine lady was
quite a pleasant surprise for us, especially from a
cross of two lavender-pinks.
The color is a cool, clear burgundy with an
interesting lighter halo and big gold edge.
Although there are no toothy parents in the
background, the edge is often somewhat jagged or
serrated in appearance.
However, we haven’t bred this one for toothy
edges. Instead
we have concentrated on expanding the inner halo and
moving this lighter color into the edge.
So far, the seedlings have been very nice with
many more to bloom in the upcoming year.
