10”, ev, rec, TET – A full sibling to June Williams Memorial, this narrow burgundy red has a slightly smaller bloom but shows more motion, with regard to twisting, turning, etc.  Again, narrow has not been our direction in the past.  However, sometimes you have to step back and observe plant performance.  Red Wine Romance is an outstanding performer in a row or clump.  A single clump might have 6 scapes with 18 to 20 flowers open on a particular day.  Despite the narrow segments, no one can overlook such a brilliant display.  Scapes 30”with great branching, carrying up to 24 buds.  Vigorous and quick to increase.  Fertile, but not an easy pod set.
