This large ruffled pink was certainly
the most admired flower in the garden
during the 04 season. A soft rose
eye
and matching rose veins are enhanced
by seemingly odd lavender midribs.
Although difficult to photograph, these
midribs are very visible to the human
eye, especially during the early morning
hours. Flower form is full and flat,
with
heavy ruffling to spare. Renie is this
years MUST HAVE! Strong
scapes
are 30, with up to 4 branches,
carrying as many as 30 buds. Fertile
both ways, but a difficult pod parent.
Winner of both the
Achievement Metal and
Best Seedling on Scape
in the Sunbelt Show 2004.
