Spacecoast Gold Bonanza
(Kinnebrew, 2002) |
| 6
¾, sev, ear-mid, rec, TET All big flowers are doomed to suffer from a loss
of form, right!! Not in this case, however. Garden named 99 Gold, this cultivar bucks
the trend. Huge flowers, measured at up to 7
¼, have perfectly round flat form, plump wide petals and sepals, and a fabulous
ruffled, golden edge, not to be believed. Substance
is very heavy, but flowers have no problems and open flat as a dinner plate every time. A picture simply cant do this one enough
justice. Buy it and see it in person!!! Scapes are 24, modestly branched, carrying
18 buds. Fertile both ways. Our best breeder for size and form. Double
Fan. |
