Surprise is the key word with this cultivar.
Somehow this very round, ruffled purple turned up in a cross of two pinks. Even more
pleasing are the wonderful traits which were passed along. Bloom occurs very early in the
season, and despite cool spring nights, flowers open extremely well showing an attractive
lighter ruffled edge. Plant habit absolutely could not be better. Vigorous plants put up
heavily branched 24" scapes, carrying up to 35 buds, thus allowing for frequent
multiple bloom. Fertile both ways, producing some
purples with white, toothy, edges.
